Olive Creek (gills), Wagontrain (crappie, gills, bass, walleye, muskie), Hedgefield (fresh lake, should be bursting with 9 inch gills), Stagecoach (crappie, eyes, wipers). Owldorado from the OFW program for crappie and bass.

If I put up all the lakes that have been suggested,Ya might get a poll that has 1 vote for each lake listed. Can I suggest that you consider a place that has some kind of shelter, maybe some food or something. It all depends on what you want to do. I will give it 1 more day and start the poll Saturday morning

Well, I haven't done much summer fishing since I would have melted into my flip flops it was so hot.  Who has gone out around here and knows where the fish are?

Although its further north....Power Creek was producing huge cats through the ice...I know I know...but they were big and action was fast. Crappies as well and few pike on smelt.  Maskenthine is always a good steady bite for bass and gills and there are a few eys and pike there as well.  Willow Creek has been non exsistent for the past couple years other than a few brush piles putting out crappies.  Buckskin is also a decent bite but again....ways north for sure.  Czechland has had some good stockings and there are now walleyes of size I'm told...but I haven't fished it in years.  2 cents.

Wildwood would be good for gills and the occasional catfish.  However, the cat's are catch and release.

Are there any lakes out east with yellow perch? Or do you gotta go out west to the sand hills to get into them?

I know i have heard of a few guys finding them in some sand pits around Genoa/Columbus.  Rare though.  You will have to head up to the sandhills for any consistency on perch.

The last gtg, MOST of us stayed in somewhat of a group for the fishing.  Swap ideas and techniques.  Had a few drinks at night.  More or less to meet face to face the people we talk to on here.

For putting fish on the ice, Wildwood, WagonTrain, Czechland, and TimberPoint.  I consider these relatively easy lakes to put fish on the ice.  Each has good numbers and some decent fish.  I haven't fished Wannahoo yet, so don't know what it offers.

One potential issue:  I may be taking the camper to wherever the meet will be to stay the weekend.  We can get better details once the location is set.

You have to fish wanahoo, fished it all summer and I couldnt keep bait on my kids pole. Bluegill, large mouth walleye, and pike. I caught a 32 incher opening weekend. Did mention I live 3 miles away beer, and a grill!   :)
