Fishing Montana's very own Dead Sea (aka Petrolia) a few weeks ago...it was a beautiful morning. Next time I'll borrow an ATV to get where the fish supposedly are.

That's what I thought too but yesterday I saw a guy ice fishing on the Clark Fork between Plains and T-Falls in a section of the river that moves really fast. he couldn't have been on over 2" of ice with rushing water underneath. I almost pulled off and took a picture but then I thought if I did and found out he died out there I'd feel really bad about taking a pic of him so I just kept driving.

Them northerns are fun thru the ice. They put up a really good fight. Have you ice fished Clark canyon for ling cod? I used to go there years ago. Are there some ling still caught there?

Why is it such a pain to post pictures on this site? Too many steps. they need to update this site. like where u can hit an add picture button and when u log on you can immediately post from a your Facebook gallery than using photo bucket and uploading stuff and moving it around .
