Call me crazy, but I actually release about 90% of the fish I catch. I might keep a couple perch once a season for a little fry, but most swim off to be caught again. I do like to keep a few Hyalite brookies and cutts when I make it up there though, 12-15" trout smoked whole then vacuum sealed make a great snack through trhe spring!

HERE'S A FEW LING AND TROUT PICS FROM THIS WEEKEND.  BIGGEST LING WAS 4.75# AND 2 BROWN'S AT 4.5#.  SORRY THE PICS AREN'T THE GREATEST.



DAD HAD NEVER CAUGHT A LING BEFORE SO HERE HE IS WITH SOME OF THE FISH ON A STRINGER.

BUT FOR ALL YOU DIEHARD HARDWATER FISHERMAN OUT THERE, WE WERE ON BIGHORN LAKE.  THE ICE WAS SKETCHY AS WE WERE FISHING WITHIN 50 YARDS FROM OPEN WATER. JUST HOPE IT BUILDS A BIT TO TRY ANOTHER TRIP AND PICK UP SOME SAUGER OR WALLEYE.

Thank you...The one I'm posing with & pictured with the pike was 28ins & 8lbs.  The solo eye was 25.50ins and 7lbs. :tipup:
