Yo Guys & Gals,

It's one thing to do something stupid. It's another when the whole world is watching you. ::) ::) ::)

You think that might fix "stupid" for him in the future?  Hopefully , lesson learned and all are safe. I don't do facebook so I will be spared the details and multiple recriminations thereof.

Yeah I was just bored while my machine was running yesterday, so I clicked the Cam link. Couldn't believe my eyes that a sled tried to get on at the beach cams view. Guess I timed it good for the show. After they got the machine back on the ice it appeared on the sunset cam driving by. Maybe he was getting up speed for the run onto shore? After hearing my machine idle for a while my wife had a few choice words, seeing what I was watching, choice words for the fishers that is...  :woot:

On a side note, the price of Aluminum went up 25% this week... :%$#!:

Well they did raise the tariff 10% on aluminum  and 25 % on steel , and I believe that’s the first raise since regan was in office, , and yet China continues not to follow their agreement, and has been ignored for many years , trump during his campaign had said this , not debating just what I read every morning , but these numbers are not etched in stone

I understand what he's trying to do, and agree, we need to make a stand and get our manufacturing back on top.
In the mean time the water is going to get rough, but will level out eventually. I was just giving a heads up, we see it in our office fast.

To each his own.

I don't want to open up a can of worms but that's not true ,second someone goes threw the ice you just scared a bunch of people ...hope no one has a heart attack ,then you have  first responders that have to endanger themselves....then you have medical personal  hospitals   law enforcement all involved ,which not to sound mean but raises my taxes and what if those rescue personal  could be used some where else ...like your house on fire ....no it's not to each his own we live in a society where others are expected to risk their lives to save some one else.........seems kinda silly to me

Yeah, seeing some pretty stupid posts about the guys that were out there today..one guy saying there was 15 inches of ice, another defending these guys actions today......guess all the guys out there could do today is go through and risk the well being of rescue personnel, not like they'll end up taking an iceburg ride like the dolt did up here last year.....

When i was a kid there would be 100 yards of planks and cinder blocks all the way to the "good" ice, I bet in the middle where there is not much moving water the ice is still thick. Not that i'm gonna go look and see. Need A hoverhut.

My older brother talks about my dad and him rowing a small boat out to get on the good ice.

If you did that nowadays you would be endangering the welfare of a child.

Times have changed...
