Never mind the short board looked like it was under the childs board/thread. I finally click on the topic below child board and found the short board and were to enter my fish.

It need to be legally caught, period. If it's illegal to catch a Bass in MI, then you couldn't post it as an entry.

Yes you cant tell the bass to not eat your bait so it better not be illegal to catch one. lol I am becoming a Conservation Officer in MI and Yes you can take a pic so long as it swims away you are ok if you happen to kill the fish taking the pic than yes you can get in trouble for it.

what about trophy fish an the trophy prize drawing.
how many times can you get your name in the trophy prize drawing?

If i get a trophy sized perch, a trophy size bass and a trophy sized pickerel........ is my name in it three times or just once. same with if I would catch three perch that were trophy sized.... Is it three times or one.

Trophy Entries:
Entries meeting the Trophy requirements will go into a separate drawing. Only entries posted or have been posted in the entries area are eligible. Entries in the non entry area are not eligible.
The entrants name will go into the drawing once and only one prize per entrant.

I noticed people are including the 2013 Card in photo 2 (sometimes holding it in their teeth), but according to rule 2, there is no mention of inlcuding the card in this photo.

We want a view of the lake. No inside the shanty pictures.
If the pic is taken at night kneel and take the pic at a downward angle so as to include the ice. Daylight pictures require background (view) as stated above.

We use the same card for TEAM MAINE's IFOY (Ice Fisherman Of the YEAR) and for that contest, both pics require the card.

Problem I had last year was I forgot my tourney card I was wondering if you guys would consider if I brought the card up on my smartphone and displayed it if that could count

Well my frist try was a FAIL, I have a picture of the fish, the rule & the card but for the picture of me with the fish we see the card me & the background but not the fish

it is hard to take a picture of yourselve when you are alone, I have not mastered it yet.

I put my camera on an upside down milk crate about 15' away from where I want to set for the picture.
Hit the self timer and go to the spot and grin!!!
FYI you only need the tourney card in one pic.
I put it in the measurement photo.
One less thing to mess with in the hero shot!!!

What does it mean. You say 11pm on Monday are you going to clear the board, start a new one, or give us some sign that its a new week? First tourney and was curious? I don't think I'll get lucky enough to reach the trophy or leader board so I'm all over the short board.

means it's a good spot to fish.

Nothing gets cleared or starts over. I lock the boards to make sure everyone entered to that point is in the weekly drawings. Winners names are out of future drawings, everyone else carries over to next weeks drawing.

You will only be entered in the drawings once, no matter how many fish you post. Once you've entered a fish, the only time you need to post an entry is if it contends on the Leaderboard.

Are you supposed to say how long you measure the fish at? Or do you guess by the tape measure in the picture? I notice some really bad measure pictures with the tape inches out in front of the top lip and then they don't even say how long they believe it was?

You don't have to state how long you think it was because the final measurement will be done by TT.

If you want to post it's about however long you can.

I will have to look into this I think one has a timer not sure the other camera has one, I think I will post & let TT decide if it is good or not, I did a second trial last Sunday.

glad to see lone wolf around but i have a problem . when i first checked on the tourny awhile back you couldn't enter yet and with the new job and trying to fulfill previous obligations i missed the sign up so why can't you guy's set it up so we can sign up for the tourny earlier in the fall , because i would rather signup in nov. than not be able to sign up at all , but i guess that resigns me to finding another site to get in on thier contest and not bothering to post here, is this what the site really wants i really don't think so . i guess there will be other tournies . see you gents next year i guess
