No tape measure, use what you can find
« on: Dec 23, 2005, 07:16 AM »
Here is a pic I found from last yr,  we didn't bring the tape measure out to the flag so we used what we had available.  The fish was released back into the water.  Air temp was in the high 30's that day,  no clouds in the sky,  and the ice was starting to soften. we iced alot of fish that day.

remember to drink responsibly, and don't drink and drive.

The fish doesn't change, but our perception sure does.
Did ya even have to ask?
Don't we all know that most anything we pursue starts lookin' better after you've emptied 5 beer cans !!

You didn't carry the tape measure out to the flag, but yet you walked back and carried 5 cans of beer to the flag?  I think somebody may have had a bit to much to drink with that logic.

it was measured w/ the cans b/c about 10 people ran out to the flag and forgot the tape measure.   We tried yelling back to the shack to have someone bring out the tape they just waived back, so I told my buddies to drink up and we'll measure it w/ the cans.

We did not have enough of a tape measure to size these fish up. The top one in 56lbs, the next one is 38lbs and the last 26lbs.
