First camp trip
« on: Jan 28, 2024, 04:27 PM »
Me, wife and dogs headed North of Millinocket Thursday evening.  We rescued the long hair sheppard from LA, California in September.   He loves the snow

We had 11-12" of ice, and chased flags for 2 days.  Only got 6 traps in on Friday, and at one point 4 flags were up.  Kept a few for friends and family, and probably released another 20 salmon.  Lots of small fish, and let anything go that's hooked in the mouth.  Hoping to head back up Friday with buddies on Friday.

Good haul.  Enjoy while you can and make the most of it.
