What is happening with the weather?

Must be global warming heh. Last year at this time we were on a few local low level lakes with 4-6 inches of ice. Forecast for the next 5 days is bleak. Come on old man winter (and I don't mean you icechip)

Its -9 right now on the Cluculz hill. I will check it out on my way into town tonight.

Gravelpit has some decent ice I think. Probably 3 inches of solid. But by weekend I'm sure it will be 5-6 inches. I walked out 15-20ft and jumped around alot. No sagging. I tossed a 20 lb rock high and out to the middle and it didn't go through. Just could feel the vibrations in the ice. I didn't bring my spud or picks so didn't check more. I would definately try it but am working the next 2 days. Spread out and take your ice picks for sure. If you don't have any, make some or buy (they are cheap). If you want to fish early and late they can save your life. They have pulled my butt out of the drink twice. Let us know how you do or better yet post some pics

Yahoo! I won't be able to make it until saturday at the earliest so I will try for then. If you could check and make sure for me on friday that would be great. As long as it keeps freezing at night it should be OK eh? Awesome news!

It stayed freezing there all day today and will get cold tonight again. I probably won't be going out there again till Saturday am, possibly late Friday. If I do I will post

Nice buck Whisk. Nice dump of snow. A friend at work got some frankfurthers made from her deer. Gave me a sample, WOW, yummy . Great pics.
I will probably be going icefishing next Monday afternoon when I get off this set of work. Weather forecast looks good. Tbone knows you, says you and he were at a stag together. We need to organize some quality outings this year to some of our trophy lakes.  We all know we have some of the largest fish in NorthAmerica, but there is just a handful of us from BC, so we need to organize...divide...an d conquer
