The pics I share with you are already second from the bottom! I save most of my pics to disk, , , , I want the best and expect all the pictures to be awesome pics. If I don't share them with you guys, , , , oh well! I still have my pictures. Sorry fellas!

Hey Whiskey!

Have you tried a different site to post your pics? Seems weird that it worked for a while and then just quit. Anyone have any suggestions for our pictorally challenged friend? Let me know when you work this weekend,my quad has arrived at Yamaha. Hopefully we can pick it up on Sat.

Geeez whisk I'd love to but have to pick up my ski-doo tomorrow as getting a gas tank installed. I'm also working 8am-8pm. If I didn't have to pick up my machine I might consider calling in for a mental health day.

How about Saturday or Sunday? I'd normally be off on that monday and tuesday but I switched a shift last november. Also having a student nurse following me around for the next few months so have to go to a workshop on tuesday. I then work wed, thur, fri, sat.

Heh whisk, now they got me working overtime tomorrow. So won't be going out in am. I have to get you guys using marmish techniques. Works wonders on neutral rainbows. Your pics seem very wide. Have ya downsized them to less than 500 pixels? Don't want you to run out of space again cause I love your pics

Pitbells auger lost a screw, , , , We resorted to a 12 gauge to blast through the ice $:-\$
maybe that's why we didn't get any bites, , ,eh! When your auger blows a blade, , you gota do what you gota do! $:-\$

You could have taken turns sticking your warm rods into a crack on the ice and eventually it would give you a hole.

You guys need a better ice auger. Before you buy one, let me borrow a buddies, so you can try it. It is a "Runtenan" from Finland.
The Runtenan is what Nils Master is except different country. It has offset handles and is a drill, not an auger. Makes a beautiful hole. You would be amazed at the ease of drilling a hole. Could drill 5 holes before you had 1 done with your "Mora". Takes a bit of getting used to with the offset handles but after a few holes you catch on. With the offset handles both arms are working to get a hole not like a mora where just the rotating arm is cutting. My first auger was a mora. I remember having trouble when the ice had some slush layers underneath, kind of bogs you down. The nils master also has a motorized one that if the motor isn't working for whatever reason, you just pop of the motor and it goes into a manual in less than a minute. I also remember blowing a screw on my mora but with nils, no screws, it is just a blade that is part of the whole drill. I know its getting late in season to get one now but put that on your wish list for your b-day or X-mas. I think they sell them at Le Baron out of Montreal (mail order) Worth every penny. You will wonder why you did without for so long.

I have fit a 10lb burby through 6 inch hole. It does however come in 8 inch. I once had a 27 lb laker that was too big for my 6 inch hole so had to quickly put the rod in holder and auger another hole beside the hole already there. I used to drill 3- 6inch holes in a triangle fashion if I was expecting to get some big boys. Go with the 8inch though. Sometimes though you get fish that won't go thru an 8inch, that my friend is your lucky day. My buddy Daniel likes to drill 3 holes at different depths right next to each other. That way if he gets a fish he guides it up thru the 3 holes. Works great for big fish.

Has anybody tried using a power saw? Then you could cut any size hole. And it would be easier to pack on the quads.
