Title: Eena for Kokanee
Post by: Cooey22 on Dec 10, 2019, 11:21 PM
So was going to try Eena for Kokanee. I have never fished for Kokanee in Eena are they at the back of the lake where the water is deep or out off the boat launch in the 40 foot water? Any help would be nice

They can be found throughout the lake I’ve caught Kokanee in 5 feet of water. Typically they like deep water. Try the 40 foot hole just out from boat launch. Have a flasher with about a 12 inch leader with a small glow hook or anything pink. Shrimp krill and maggots corn and special corn sense works great. Jig for them. If you have a shanty it’s awesome to see them bite. Typically between 22 feet to the top of ice is where they will be. Bigger then Ness lake. Kokanee do loose scales when caught so be mindful that not every fish thrown back makes it.
Tight lines.
