Mooter Posse Rockin Renner

Left Story on Saturday afternoon with a truck full of gear and the Mooter Posse.  Brad, Sak,KFM, and I all rolled over to Basin for a night of Texas Hold-em and beers.  Early the next morning after a few "quick pullovers" we made it to Renner Reservoir.  The fishing was pretty slow in the morning (maybe it was half the crew sleeping in the truck).  After a hot lunch and hookin up with Pokefan1 we headed back out and didn't do too bad.  Thanks again Pat for the good times and hopefully we will see you on Sunday.

Right on brother..I got your message a little late Mooter.. I've been busy.done ice fish'n for the year. Got to save some time for this spring at TRR when the ice goes out. Looks like a good time. Hope to plan a weekend trip with some of all who wants to spend a weedend at TRR for some spring Walleye,bass,pike fish'n out a da boats..Nice fish and pics.

Where is Renner located? Me and my dad are both curious!

Looks like a great trip! How thick was the ice where you guys were...and having open water only a few yards away? GREAT PICS!

Its located on the west side of the Big Horn mountains just north of Tensleep, maybe half way between Tensleep and Hyattville.

The ice was 14-16" on most of the lake but in the pictures close to the open water the ice was only 6". The water was 5'. Almost all of those fish we caught were in less then 5'...It was a great time!!

Firewater?  That was some wicked stuff ya?  Glad you made er home okay.  Depending on the weather I may bring the oldest daughter over Sunday.  Do you guys normally fish out of the shanty?
