My first ice plan depends on where and when the ice forms first. ussally on a farmers pond just about a mile from my house that he chages a $1 to fish.

Theres a private pond owned by the waste management corp I'll be fish'n first ice. Stocked to the brim with blues, specs and hybrids, can't wait!
