Good tackle/bait shop south of M Lacs
« on: Jan 14, 2019, 09:17 AM »
Coming up thursday from Iowa to fish ML and was told bait was are hard to find this past weekend around the lake. Checking to see where a good bait store south of the lake but north of the cities is.

Thanks Chad

You might want to call Tutts In Garison.

I believe there is a bait shop in Zimmerman right off Hwy 169 Princeton might have a place too. there is also Princes too (believe they are just north of Milaca right on Hwy 169 also). could also check around Onamia. there is a shop right at the intersection of Hwy 169 and Hwy 27. call around to the resorts on the lake and see who they recommend too. Cabela's at Rogers has a bait shop (at least they did before, not sure anymore since bass pro bought them out). you could stop there then take Hwy 101 north to where it meets up with Hwy 169 then head north to the lake. there is also Thorne Brothers in Blaine but they are kind of out of the way.
