I was thinking the same thing. Plus you can't read the tape cuz it's too blurry. Nice pike tho

I didn't see it was twisted until I got home and put it on the puter.

Also coudn't help the blurryness, pic taken with my cell as I forgot my real camera at home.

If it does get DQ'd I will just have to go get a bigger one.

And I can post my 39-40 incher I caught today.

So you throw it in a bucket, or in your shelter, duffle-bag, anywhere !!! Mid 20's with a few fish in a bucket or in a shanty and the fish are fine. When I first saw your entry I went back through and looked at your past entries, I did notice one other frozen looking fish so I figured hey this new entry fish was legit. Lesson learned on your end I guess, I know if I caught a fish of a lifetime like a 16 incher for most of us, I would of taken better care of it, but then again with the amount of monster yellows you have taken through the years maybe you don't feel the way most of us would about a 16 incher. I been chasing them heavy open water and hard and only took 3 ever over 14" (and none over 14.5)

Tuche! That is true. Me and my dad were fishing fontnelle one time for trout. A couple times my dad had 4 or 5 fish showing on his fish finder. He's get hits and kept missing. He was getting pretty angry...but I wasn't even getting a nibble or seeing a fish. All of the sudden he finally gets it...reals it up and it's about a 10" chub with a mouth opening smaller then a dime. first words out of his mouth, "How the hell did I even catch this thing?!" Was using a fairly decent sized jig. The look on his face was priceless. Getting the jig out of that things mouth was also quite a feat.

the leader crappie is not 15 inch maybe 141/2 .this is starting to seem little bit funny.all yeah my was DQ for looking frozen,the pic was taken 30 sec after caught,**censored**.

If your entry was DQ'd it's nothing personal .. it didn't meet the requirements.

As for accusing me of cheating .. I'm not paid to do this tourney, I have no favoritism towards anyone and frankly it's a hugely time consuming venture on my part for IceShanty members to enjoy.

Maybe you should get a magnifying glass out as the crappie YOU refer to as 14 1/2" at most did measure out at 15". It was -1/4" at upper lip and 15 1/4" at the tail.

Lastly if you feel I'm biased / cheating just request to have your name removed from the sign up sheet ... it's that simple.
