I was told about this by a family member and was wondering if any IS member shad gone to it? Does anybody know what time of year this takes place? Thanks for the help in advance!

Think it takes place in mid to late November

it is normally held in September. I was there this year and even with the rain that day there was a good turn out. the event in November is the Hardwater Expo and that is held at and ran by the National Sports Center in Blaine (just up the road from Thornes).

How many people bring their modified portables there to show them off? How do you enter your portable for the competition? Is there an entry fee for entering you portable in the competition?

the number of houses vary from year to year. the best way to get details is to go to Thorne Brothers website and get their phone number and call them around mid August and talk to them. also check out their facebook page.
