Walleye season

I know that the walleye/pike season closes in Minnesota...But I heard a rumor that it doesnt close on the border waters of Lake of the Woods, Rainy, etc. Is this true? anything will help thanks...

Closes Aprill 14 for Lake of the woods. And March 31 for South Dakota . Wisconsin boarder ; the St.Croix river March 31 the Mississippi pool 4 open year round. North DaKota year round. Iowa Feb 14

Not year round in Iowa...only the IGL's....
