Just wondering who else might be heading up for the derby? Me and fishonone have decided to make it happen

Good thing our wives are understanding with our addiction, being its on valentines day

we booked a room at fossil butte this afternoon

Viva Naughton reservoir, just outside kemmerer wy. reports are still looking like its a go. Hoping the storm this next week cools stuff back down

I had planned to hit the tourny at sulphur but after seeing the cancellation I was planning to still try and get on the ice anyway...but didn't see the note about the water around the edges

Now I have to find another location to fish...maybe the berry.

Cant beat that at all delement, We fished straight across from the boat ramp last trip and did ok. Got away from the crowds a bit. Thinking about hitting the same area. I'm guessing anywhere with in walking distance from the ramp will be shoulder to shoulder. I'll send you a pm with some details

They will be registering people starting at 6am at the boat ramp, thats when me and fishon1 will be registering. Delement87 will be arriving about that same time also

wont be hard to spot the militia flags. I just recieved a new one for the sled. Working to have it on tomorrow. Either way I'll have my tent one flying

Here's some good info for everyone heading up

The Kemmerer Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE) 2341 will be serving a free Chili dinner for derby participants. Please provide proof of entry for admittance. The Kemmerer Eagles Club is located at 806 Klondyke Street in Kemmerer WY.
The Hamsfork Station (Sinclair) and liquor store (Located on US Hwy 189), and the local Kum&Go (located on the corner of Moose St and Central Avenue) will open at 5:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday to serve derby participants. Both locations offer fishing licenses, derby entry, propane, fuel, liquor, and a host of other convenience items. The Hamsfork Sinclair also sells snowmobile and off-road vehicle (ORV) registrations.

fishing was way slow saturday. biggest fish of the day was 21 5/8.
