bedding for worms in bait puck ?

What should i pit for bedding in my bait puck for night crawlers and red wigglers ?

Dampened sphagnum moss. Same thing a good wormer raises them in.

I use moss when its available.  I have also used shredded newspaper.  Both work pretty well, just make sure they are damp to the touch.  If I'm using the smaller pocket size pucks, I usually don't put anything in it for bedding.  I'm only using them for the day and I have found that any type of bait I use will last a day, without bedding.
