Yellow Brick

Last Thursday Blue Lund and I were out for the first fish of the season.  Lots of fish marked but to no avail, few bites.  Anyone else having any success there?

Unfortunately sounds like the whole east side is currently poor.

Was out on Friday and Saturday a few keepers but not a lot of action. A lot of nets set, not sure if that has something to do with it.

What are the ice/ snow conditions like west of the boat launch there? By any chance; is it still accessible by truck or 4X4?

Thanks.

there were some trucks out there but not to far from the boat launch mostly to permanent shacks there. Looked like they did have to much trouble getting there.  It is slick as the ice is not covered with much snow.  Even walking around to set up the tent proved tricky and you slipped around.

I've been out several times with poor results. I've fished from 12 to 25 fow with best results at 16-18. Mostly eater size. Marking only a few fish per outing.  :-\
