I'm originally from Sturgis and a few years ago when I moved to Gillette Bear Butte Lake was dry. What did they restock it with?

Hope you get well.

It seemed to me the bite started at 2:30 if that helps you at all.

Hit Bismarck and Stockade today. Got the Northern at Stockade on a Shiner below a tip-up in about 10 FOW. Got the Perch at Bismarck. Ice is great at Bis. Even saw a very, very brave older soul drive his S-10 pick up out on it. Going to beg and plead with Mrs. jbuss tonight and try and go back out tomorrow for a bit.

Heading there in the morning.  Stopped by on Sunday afternoon and there was 4 inches of ice in front of the north marina only went out about 100 feet.  Ice is so clear judging depth is difficult and did not feel like unloading an auger to check for sure.

Went to bear butte, a bite picked up at about 3 and I landed a few perch and missed some flags. Just small minnow and split shot. Then jigging a small bro bug with a head, got 2 on the jig.  about 3:20 some dirt bikes and a snowmobile came to play on the lake and the fishing ended immediatly!!  The one bike had a throttle that was not connected to the rear tire i do beleive!! and he liked his exhaust.

Oh well,  talked to some other people using worms and waxies and they had nothing.

8 inches of solid ice

I am going to try Jenny Gulch on New Years. I always set out tip ups and I have caught a few, but what else do you guys fish for in there? I like to do some jigging while I wait for flags. Are there very many lakers back there to fish for?
