humminbird piranhamax 4PT

Hi guys , I currently have a marcum 3x that i bought years ago when they first came out. It's been a very good flasher. I'm now looking at the humminbird piranhamax 4 PT fishfinder.  I want something small , light, & can put in my canoe , or fishing docks. Does anybody have this unit , & how do they like it. I don't need a GPS. Thanks Don.

Mount the open water transducer and gimble to your kayak. Reuse your 3x battery or just buy another sla at walmart ($25)
On ice just transition the same battery and gimble to a blue genz box
