Sitting in the gulf hoping the sun doesn't set on my ice fishing season before I get back.  Walked down the beach yesterday to the closest fishermen to get the scoop.  They were from Minnesota,  go figure!  Fish aren't biting to well down here either with the cold spell but that's ok because I'm not fishing.

Someone put a blanket on a small patch of that ice for me!

Hope your at least enjoying your time down there... I think it may take more than a blanket this time.

Yeah, the weather's perfect in my opinion,  shorts and tshirt.  I don't like being hot and it's hot in the sun if there's no breeze.

Yeah, I figured I was done when I left but that wasn't the first time this year!  Who knows, msybe I'll get lucky one more time.

Thank you.  It's taken from a fishing pier in Bayou Saint John looking west towards Orange beach.  The bridge is Perdido Pass.

Awesome, enjoy your time down there.  At least get a cheap surf rod and throw it out there, while ur tanning.   We will be down in gulf shores in a few weeks, im starting to look forward to it

This was up in northern Michigan last weekend.   Such a great sunset on a huge lake.

By the time you get back up this way roeboat , should be in the 50's I hope ! Calling for 64 next Thursday !!! Ready to open the windows in the house and have a bond fire , on top of some good crappie fishing

Made it back late yesterday.  Wind is depressing!  Hope I can make it out 1 more time but it's not looking good.

Ya the wind is brutal ! good luck if you do get back out . Creek fishing has been good but now all the rain we got it I'll mess that up too

Yeah, this transition is always tuff.  Always wanting to fish and the weather makes it a struggle.
