🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼. I fished a couple days ago up in North Central Mass. 4" of mixed ice and a few fish. Good to get out but can't wait to go around here. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
-
I'm ready. Been able to focus on other important projects lately, but I wanna go fishing lol.
-
I am getting ready cannot wait!!
-
:tipup:Fingers crossed!

Got Mass. License this week. Used it every ice trip last season.
-
Bowdish has a slush cover as of Tuesday the 16th at 12pm. We get some temps that they have been saying might get fishing by Friday/Sat. I'll be bait hunting shortly Runnings Putnam/ Bob's in Dayville / or Big Bear.
-
Has anyone gotten eyes on wilsons if its locked up yet?
-
Wilson's is mostly open water. I checked a few smaller ponds in the area today. They all had about 2" of crappy snow ice. It's going to be a few more days for sure.
-
Spudded Bowdish at 4 pm today... 2 inches here on the end near the Route #44 causeway. I spudded out in front of the house about 20 feet out. Ice here is milky but tight. West end is still open somewhat. Like Comeonnow said another day or two and we should be looking pretty good. Be making ice around the clock for the next 48 it looks like. Weekend fishing might be in the offing.
-
Some Ponds in Lincoln were almost locked. Lots of moving water still from rains. Hopefully fishable soon before the warm up. Stay safe
-
I have the day off and I am goin searching for fishable ice. I will report back. Temp currently 22degrees Fahrenheit.
-
As of 9 am about 2 1/2 inches here pretty tight. Still partially open on the west end of the lake and at the inflow of Lake Washington. Lake Washington by eyeball is pretty tight as well. Picking up bait today I'll be fishing by tomorrow here on Bowdish out in front of the house.
-
Heading out in the morning to find some ice in the chepatchet, burrillville area…good luck to everyone trying to find something and stay safe!
-
Went up to check Peck Pond right on the CT border west of Bowdish right before dinner (4 pm or so). Had ice... 2 guys were fishing it. They were dry so the ice must have been good. ;D
-
That’s where I was heading first figured it was my best shot…hopefully the bite was on for them! If anyone wants to link up I’ll be there with a yellow frabill and tan coveralls feel free to say what’s up

Nice Larry 👍
-
Nice Fish Reginald. One small Larry to report from Bowdish, had another "something" drop at the hole after spooling about 20 ft.... thought I was hooked up but I guess not. Tomorrow is another day got in a 6 good hours of fishing was on the ice at 6:30am. I'll be out same time tomorrow. Have fun and be safe fellas
-
What been found for ice out there? I used today to scout and get bait for tomorrow. We checked 7 ponds today. Started in Griswold and found a small 10 acre pond I like had 3 inches, everything else in Griswold/Voluntown was too sketchy for us. Found some ice in Burrillville area. Crossed back into CT and found a few other spots with nice ice. We are ready to go for tomorrow and plan to be drilling by 6:30a.
Bait was tough but managed the last 2 doz mediums from B&J’s. They still have plenty of heavy’s.
Good luck all!!!

Well another 4 hours on Bowdish without a flag. Cut it short due to unfavorable weather conditions and hand warmer malfunctions. It was not quite Ice Planet Hoth weather, no Ton-Tons running around.... but without a flag in 4 hours, figured I'd cut my losses, save some bait and fish again tomorrow when weather slacks up, cold and wind wise. Still have a dozen mediums to work with tomorrow morning. Cold, blue sky days do not treat Bowdish well from a fish standpoint, all the days like today, cold, windy and blue sky no clouds (over 7 seasons give or take the 2 no ice years) here have been skunks. Good luck and stay safe everyone. Hope fish are getting caught by someone.

Way to get out….we went out a bit in Lincoln and got 0 but it was nice to get the tilts wet. ;D
-
Does anyone have a report on Wilson's? Got out in Concord, NH yesterday. 5-7 inches. 8 perch. This would be a great week to Fish NH. Fred
-
Awesome guys. Of course the first weekend we had a shot at local ice I took a trip to NH... to go skiing. Didn't have much time Sunday and didn't bring my ice gear. After the rain this week I might have to drive a bit further. Just glad it feels like winter

-
Nice work getting that Bow.
-
Wow thats a fat bow!
-
Thanks he was happy….now need rain and warm out of here and a freeze again
-
Got out Monday for 4 hours and then Tuesday for another 3...Nothing. I jigged the crap out of a few holes every day Sat - Tuesday. no results. Could not get to the part of the lake I really wanted to hit too much open water still. Really warm and wet today. Hoping for another freeze soon before we lose this good base layer of ice.
-
I saw you out there on Tuesday Mainuh. I fished for a few hours out in front of the B.L. Campground near the rock pile in the snow. Couldn't Snowdog over to you because of open water. Had quite a few flags but only landed one bass. Fished up in Rutland today but it seems like we are going to need a few cold nights before we get back out.
-
Sorry I didn't see ya Comeonnow....had my back to the weather most of Tuesday so I was looking toward the causeway. Good news ya got out. I think we may be maintaining ice here on Bowdish. Hope we get a cold snap but does not look great for REAL ice making temps. Think my last few minners will be racoon food soon.
-
Glad to hear you guys getting out, finally have a free weekend but even western MA might be iffy... debating taking a drive out that way tomorrow but not sure its worth it. Might need to drive almost to the lakes region if I try give NH a go. If not, next weekend I have plans to go to my house north of the notch
-
Looking like another warm week…. 50! Not good.
-
Heading to N.Central MA tomorrow in search of some ice...I will report back.
-
Just got to NH for the weekend. Plenty of ice to be found where I'm at right now. I'll report back in the next couple days

6-7 inches of decent ice. I ended with two bass on the day. Other people out the running for flags too. Mostly in the AM before 10 o clock. Feet stayed dry so...A good day it was.
-
Nice job
-
Well I got out for a late first trip in NH this past weekend. Only fished Saturday and got skunked but it was still great to be out. I was just north of the mountains and surprised to only have 6-7 inches at the most that far north. Although the lake I was on was fairly deep. Interested to see how the derby this weekend goes with the way the ice is.
