Thanks Bean. I posted a post on what kind of lube to use for a frabill classic last spring and you just answered my question; a whole nine months later! Oh well...I don't think I fished that late into the year, so I know what to use this year.

I bought some of the frabill Sub-Zero lube and it's good, but the applicator cap threads don't match up with the tube and I had to duct tape it on. Contacted cust. serv. and they sent out a new cap right away.

Try this link Bigred. I think Beaver Dam can re-lube them for relatively cheap, or you can do it yourself without too much trouble.

does that blu-lube really work and is it worth the 3 bucks for the bottle. I've never lubed my tipups or reels before. Is it nessasary.
