Haha. I’m convinced nobody in that part of the South Dakota pays attention to anything from the outside world. They are incredibly tight lipped about fishing information especially in the winter! Most of my info has come from friendly Iowa folks who have spent some time up there. The South Dakota section is very quiet here.

Went for 3 days last week.  Slow fishing and travel was limited.   Alot of snow settled last Saturday and Sunday so travel shouldn't be bad now.   Hopefully fishing will pick up as people venture out more for you.

We just got back from the area. Hammered out our limits of perch and eyes one day. Hammered them Sunday till 11 then a front pushed through. It was tough fishing after that. We fished the west side of Bitter.

Travel was perfect. I had a snowmobile!

quick follow up----short sun down bite, fish the trees ---travel is OK if you stay in a track---drifts are hard & you can drive over most of them, If / when you fall through you will be high centered & just as well look for a tow--experience on this one

Fished bitter last Thursday. Travel was great until we hit a nasty slush pocket, kind of freaked the guys in the ranger out so we left after that and went to our rental on big stone.
