That's A nice crappie but I cant believe thats all the bigger the state record is in WY.. I think our record for Iowa is 4lbs 5 oz. A buddy of mine caught a 18.25" crappie this winter 20 yards from me.... 3lbs 7 oz. No disrespect just surprised.

I wish I could run into a few 3/4 that size.

Yeah my buddy caught one here in NY last year that was 16 and 5/8 inches and 3.6 lbs. We thought it was a state record when he caught it.

The PA record here is 18" 4lbs. I've come close twice one being half a proud away (3.6 lbs). the other being 1 pound away ( 3.2 lbs). I just can't seem to find their grandpa ;D
