Big & Little Shag

Anybody fish Big or Little shag this year? How thick is the ice. and how has the bite been?

Haven't been out there myself this year, but I've heard people are fishing both. Ran into a guy yesterday who went to Little Shag - said 5-6 in ice and "plenty" of bluegills and some rainbows.

I've never had much luck on Little Shag... might give it another go in a couple weeks here.

Was there Friday from 4-6:30, good 5 inches of solid ice. One rainbow, 14 inches but no other bites. Heard people were slamming the gills there early.
