Post by: eriediver on Feb 09, 2004, 07:25 PM
HEY TIGHT LINERS:  I HAVE BEEN USING MY Z-AQUA VIEW FOR THREE YEARS NOW,  DO YOU FEEL THAT THEY SCARE OFF FISH? ARE THEY REALLY ANY GOOD i.e. CAN ANYONE REALLY SEE  MORE THAN 3-4 FEET,  HOW EFFECTIVE IS THE INFER RED LIGHTS AND WHAT IS THE RANGE OF THEM.  I FIND THAT MY CAMERA SITS IN THE BOTTOM FO MY CLAM MORE THAN IT GETS USED.

I hardly every use my cam. The main lake that I fish has dirty water. Last year we used it in a odd way. We would move around drilling holes, put the camera down and check water clarity. If you could see more than a foot, move. We found that the dirtiest water held the perch. I only have success using the cam normally on one lake, extremely clear. On this lake I catch five to friends one, light bite. I do feel like it scares fish in some situations. In bay de noc this year we were marking fish constantly, but couldn't get them to bite. Threw the camera down didn't see/mark a fish in an hour. Took it out, fish all over
