Another good day at williams. The snow was the same but the wind made the walk a bit chilly. No slush and snow was 2-6 depending on the drifts.

Thanks guys! Steve good to see you on IS. Some of the eyes didn’t require bait while others wouldn’t touch it without bait
Great hot bite when you don't need to tip most winter lures with bait...again great job.

Awesome job today Scout...I thought I did good until I saw your post !
My boots on some ice... A line down a hole...Some fish on the screen... And a flag in the air !......Winter is Good !!

I would say yes, we were out on sunday not much snow on the ice just areas of jagged ice to navigate through. there were machines all over the lake

Well this has nothing to do with fishing but it's a pretty cool pic from my new Spypoint Cell camera

Great pic moosefeet. How do you like the Spypoint cam?

I have one and it took some trial and error to get it working. The batteries blew up in the first one and they replaced it. The new one has been rock solid after I got it working initially.

What condition do you think the ice will be Saturday with the warm temps and possible snow coming. Wanna know if worth a 2 hour drive up.

Also fished today out of Jewel.  No keeper eyes but 5 shorts and enough perch to get a couple meals.  Very light bite and lots of fish staring at the presentation.  Beautiful day to be out.

My daughter convinced me to head back to Williams's Beach again today. Snow and ice conditions were the same but with the wind up it was brisk. Several folks bucket sitting and moving. The bite was slow and size was small. Shanties were spread out as each hunted for some decent fish. Got several similar reports from others we encountered. The big disappointment was that we left our auger leaning against the post in the park and someone decided they needed it more then us. Thanks to the guys who lent us the open holes !

Anyone fish after the sun goes down? Obviously being careful of snowmobiles with proper lighting. Just wondering if the bite dies down at dark? Thinking of staying a few hours after to see what happens.
