Thanks for the heads up, appreciate it, ...I kind of saw that coming, I checked that ice 5 days ago......won't be long now could be a good lock up, not much snow in forecast next 10 days, 8 nights in arow below zero coming, haven't done that since February of 2015 ....we'll be running machines quick if it stays snowfree.

last night the squall actually fell apart in place, it kind of retreated back towards Oswego, then the lake... never swinging down over Oneida, what luck that was, next chance around Oneida for more then a couple inches of snow is next week, if all works out we'll be running machines on it before it snows on Oneida, best lock up in years....   go ahead trap print away, fall creek falls was my swimming fishin hole as a kid...

Does anyone know the ice conditions near Godfrey boat launch?

The ice looked rough at Godfrey 4-5 large areas of open water yesterday , those spots were hard this morning.

It looks locked as far as I can see in the Bernhards Bay/Constantia area! I just drove by there. Ice looks kinda rough from the break up and refreeze, but it should smooth out I would think. Great ice making conditions ahead 👍🏼
Great shots Shaner! Always enjoy the pics

That was a great year for ice. I fished the main lake the day after Christmas that year and we made it into April with machines.

Good reminder about Godfrey Fred filet....At the launch all the heat holding concrete, blacktop,  rip -rap boulders and gravel from that little feeder creek that dumps in there,...also wind action and current can all cause some ice issues ...... not to far offshore from there has Oneidas super deep water too.

Beautiful pictures Snag....The Salmon River was cranking that day !
My boots on some ice... A line down a hole...Some fish on the screen... And a flag in the air !......Winter is Good !!
