2/27 ice in the Berkshires probably my last time out

On the ice at seven and off at 1:30 had 9 inches of ice to start with by the time I walked off down to 7 inches much to my surprise edges are still solid there was 4 inches of clear ice 3 inches of white ice over the top. Nice day to be out there down to a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt by 9:30.  Fishing wasn’t bad ended up with two bass and two slime darts one of that better size. Lost a big fish right at the whole 3 pounds? 4 pounds? Maybe five I’ll never know .  Hook Pulled  right at the hole got to see the fish not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

Nice work getting out there on some nice fish. Sad that much ice was lost, but might survive for a few more days.

Today was a perfect day. Hit the bog today action was good and steady but no pike but alot of laughs  with friends
