Over Filling Your Snowdog?

I was wondering how much gas everyone puts in your Snowdog?  The manuel says about an inch down from the fill cap.  Has anyone had problems with overfilling their Dog?  Thanks for the feed back.

WYOBEAR, I filled mine a bit too much the first trip to the Gorge when I bought it and with all of the josseling and such going down the Forest Service dirt roads  I saw that a bit had overflowed/spilled out by the time I arrived. I've been filling it up to just below the filter screen since then and have not had a repeat
