I just got back this am from the island, I fished tues and wed..Fished just out off the west ramp.The ice is really good not all that rough..It was a good 10" the 2 different places I fished..Not much snow on top either...The water is still cloudy but getting better...Fishin is spotty,1 here and there...A lot of small males being caught 12-15"..My biggest was about 5...I saw some guys goin out from the state park headed nw...Minnows are hard to get,I saw the fish truck at the airport and people in line to get them...I heard a guy on the isl paid 150$ for a gallon...im headed back up sat...This looks to be a great season...I stay at the black squirrel..Rob and maria are great people...cheers greg
