Heading to hot sulphur springs this weekend and never been up around there. Thinking about trying some ice fishing at William fork. I’ve never fished this reservoir so I was wondering it’s it worth it and how is ice condition. I’m coming up from wyoming so colorado ice fishing is new to me. Thanks in advance, just wanting to know if it’s safe and worth it as my wife and son will be with me as well

Here's a good resource for Grand County conditions:

Yeah I saw that thank you, was wondering if anyone personally been out there since that report and if anyone has some pointers to catch pike and those lakers. I heard east boat ramp is good place to start ?

lakers try fishing in 40-60 feet off the east side by the river rocks.
pike are going to be deeper in that east side area. good luck getting them to commit. WF pike are some college doctorate educated fish.

Pike are deeper than 40-60 feet???? I have been trying to figure out where pike go in these reservoirs in the mid-winter.
