I was wondering if you can fish class A ponds right now even if you release everything?

With just an A, no, you would need to wait till Dec. 1st. However, I have seen a few A waters that say "open to open water and ice fishing". Lakes and ponds in southern and eastern counties are open whenever ice forms unless otherwise indicated.

Thats how I read it anyways
