Too warm to icefish in Alaska!

 >:(  Long spell of warm weather has left the local lakes (southcentral Alaska) with lots of standing water and no snow.  Here is a pic of the temp at Lowe's in Wasilla yesterday...  It's been like this for the past two weeks!  Still lots of ice but lots of water and REALLY slick!

Wow. And it was -18 degrees 2 nights ago at my house here in NY state.

nice weather just to bad about he standing water. we are not having this problem in northern Alberta right now been a darn cold winter up here. a few decent days but for the most part its been cold. Like -10'F average for the last 2 months.

Warmer in AK than in Central Indiana...-12 on the way to work this morning.  Tonight will be the 3rd night in a row and and 8 day below 0 for January.  Kind like it...not much ice over the last 2 years.  Many people think I'm crazy.  They just don't get it.

Gee icy mike you may have to change your handle to slushy mike with those temps! I hope you get back to "Normal" with your weather soon.
