Here is a pic of my son (8) with his biggest pike to date (32 inches)!  Boy was he excited when this big guy came up the hole ;D

No he didn't want a mount.  He actually was pressuring me to hurry up and take the pic so we could get it back in the water...........which we did!

Great pike, something to be pretty proud of.    Nice to hear he was eager to let it go, although they do taste pretty good  :)

The fight was awesome.  He saw the flag go up, ran to the hole, pulled the tip up out, grabbed the line, waited, set the hook and started to bring him in.  The Northern gave him two runs and finally came to the hole.  He yanked him out and I think they could hear him cheer in the next county ;D
