Paw Paw Lake

Ice is 3 to 7 inches. Lots of open water near shore, thanks to bubblers. Perch bite in 18 feet of water. Scattered crappie.

I used to fish Paw Paw in the fall for pike, and did very well . The last time I was there a couple ,three ,four years ago , all of the pike holding weeds were gone , The association must have killed all the cabage .Has it recovered ? I guess it has for panfish according to your post

Weeds run from 5 to 12 feet. They got killed off along shore.  The zebra mussels made lake ultra clear. Can see 6 to 8 feet down.  Pike have been biting in channels.   Hard to get to good spots, because of poor ice.  I'LL be out Saturday
