Sebago station conditions
« on: Jan 22, 2019, 02:50 PM »
Anyone know what the ice conditions are like at the station?  Going to try to fish it tomorrow and I’m not sure if there is enough ice for a snowmobile or if there’s too much snow to walk and drag a sled. Any information is appreciated!

Found 8+ inches of ice in most spots. Walked out about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile. It actually seemed like more ice further out. Caught one 26-27” togue on a trap, and managed a 20-21” on the jig rod. Seemed extremely slow all around me. A couple of groups that were fishing nearby never got a flag...   the snow drifts weren’t too bad, but after this rain and warm weather it should be back to glare ice by the weekend.

Shanty definitely made it easier to post pictures!  I just spent 15 minutes trying to figure it out before I noticed the “add image to post” button...
