Hey, thanks, I like it a lot. I bought it from a major outfitter located in Sydney Nebraska because the price was right and it fit in the bed of my pickup...pretty much stays there all summer, see a lake, launch the Kermit.  ;D

ex, I read where you talked once about Kermit. I guess I did not pay attention to what you were talking about. That is one cool skiff. Looks like a nice little fishing machine. Gotta love the Kermit

I do love the Kermit, I do, the guys at Fremont Motors gave me the Kermit emblem after they found out it was the name of the lil green boat  ;D ...It was part of some promotion that was over...so I just fiberglassed it onto the back of the rear seat  ;D

Smooth Like glass, which in my several years of fishing has overall proven to be the kiss of death....no fish. Yes, Ocean is near the small towns of Pavillion and Kinnear off Wy 133-134.

By the way, whatever it's worth to you Ocean Lake fishermen, I was at Dickensen Park the other day and I suppose it was Bureau of Reclamation....they had a track-hoe parked, but had ripped out the concrete boat launch and dug a huge hole across the parking lot opposite the old restroom. I inquired at G&F this am and they knew nothing of it. Looks like we're gonna get a new launch and a pottie to boot.

Don, I think you need maverick on the front of the kermit ship for good luck.  I took my thermop buddy duck hunting last fall at Ocean and we launched the boat at Dickinson. He works for the bureau of rec and was going to report the need for a new launch pad at dickinson. Maybe they're going to replace it.  I heard the size of ray lakes walleyes are getting bigger. Some being caught in the 5-6# range.  later KR

Ray Lake is today's destination and I heard the same thing from a guy who ice-fished it, well, I hung a good one over there last week and couldn't get him up off the bottom, then th' pa-tooey! Need all the good luck I can get, let's install the maverick. Ocean Lake...yep, that's what they're doing, otherwise, they wouldn't have bothered with digging the old one up.  ;D

Got blown off brudder Steve, I launched in perfectly fine weather and it went from zero to whitecaps in about ten minutes, sheesh! same way everywhere and a westerly wind actually turned in to a NORTH...well ya know what that means. I even did what Ocean Eyes suggested and installed Maverick on the bow...course he's a goose so he liked it...no help. whine, whine, whine.  ;D

I'm tellin' ya... I've had a tourney ready bass boat and too many jon boats to list. But that little boat you got pictured is dang near the same thing as my ol' Water Scamp! Carried it in the back of my pickup and pulled many a fine stringer of bass, crappie and 'gills out of too many farm ponds and strip pits.

Can't find a Water Scamp any longer but did find this... http://www.BusterBoats.com

LT,

How do you like Kermit?  There is a 8 foot Pelican with 27 lb thrust trolling motor for 350 down here and I was thinking about picking it up.  Any thoughts?

Gus, I have 3 boats, a 2003 15 ft Lowe w/25 elec start Merc, a 12 ft alum hull and Kermit. If I put a boat in the water ten times, 8 of those, it will be the Kermit! Flip the lil Pelican over, be sure no holes/damage  and JUMP ON IT...it's worth waaay more than that...Don
(You won't regret it.)
