Going to take some time to just get everything organized and ready.  At least 7 days in a row of below freezing next week should set the stage nicely! I need to find someone in WY that can sharpen both sets of Auger blades.  Cheers, CB

a coupler for refilling propane tanks from 20 pound to 1 pound

Have you filled 1 pound propane from 20 lb tanks before?  If so how did it work?  I hate having all those 1 lb tanks empty and would like to refill them.  I would be real interested in the success you have.

CleerCreek, if you're looking for info on 1lb bottles, just do a search for green bombs and refilling. There are numerous multi-page threads on the topic with all there is to read on it Plus some links to youtube vids.

Posted the same topic on the Iowa page, sorry I missed yours I wouldnt have posted it. We had a beautiful day in SW Iowa and I spent it making an auger bracket, picking up a new sled, and building a hitch to haul it behind the wheeler.

I'm still waiting on it to come in I have not tried it yet but IF have been looking into it on you tube and various other sites just to see if there was any regulations for it but all in all it seems to be pretty simple place the coupler on the big tank with channel locks screw on the 1 pounder flip the tanks and turn on the big tank until you hear the gas stop leaking into the other container and as long as you purchase the coupler with the auto shut off for over filling accidents you'll be ok

Wife got me a custom rod for my birthday, got a reel put on that and spooled. can't wait to try it out. patched the hole that some damn mouse chewed in my otter cabin. thinking about trying out one of those jaw jackers any thoughts on those.
