I hate all socks with tight elastic tops.  That includes wigwam.

There have been a few threads about Wigwam socks. They were the ticket from what I remember. I have had a couple of pair and for the money they served my needs just fine.

Whopper stopper is correct if you use the search feature should find a thread or two on Wigwam socks. Personally depending on temperature I use Wigwam's 40 below socks with a coolmax liner sock also from Wigwam.

I prefer Smartwool hiking socks over a lighter/thinner pair of dress type socks (not cotton).

Wigwam rag wool socks.

Changed my middle name to "You should have been here yesterday".         Remember it's called fishing, not catching.

Wigwam rag wool socks.

Rag wool is great. I also love rag wool gloves.
