I checked Morrison-Rockwood State Park on Saturday night and it was not frozen yet. Only ice was in the shallow area by the Marina/bait shop. there wasn't even a skim of ice out in the main part of the lake. I will check tonight after work to see if there is any ice yet.

Skim ice on about 60% of lake. Still open out in the middle.

I am going to the Hennipen canal visitors center tommorrow. My brother, tbirdbasser, said 6" and plenty of action on a green spin jig. Let me know I'm about 45 min from the quad cities and about 5 min from the canal.
