Lake George at Loud Thunder Park

Any of you guys wish to share some tips about fishing Lake George.  My father lives in those parts and info would be helpful.

I have lots of family in th QC and have camped at Loud Thunder but haven't fished the lake it since I was a kid.  We used to do well with crappies in the spring I remember.  We always find someplace else to fish (river & some local ponds) so that sort of tells me its not as good as it used to be (just my opinion/assumtion).  My cousin & her husband run a bait shop in Andalusia and they would probably be a good place to get some information.  I dont have the phone number on me but if you PM me I can get you directions.   I also stop into Creogarts on 11th St in Rock Island whenever I'm in town and they are real helpful.  One of the best selections of ice jigs I've ever come across.
