Anyone check today the 9th

Did anyone in the starved rock area go out and check the ice and if you did how thick was it.

I'm in Des Plaines and the bank ponds which will freeze first are still half open. I know the Chain is all open.

wooohooo  I just checked the little pond I fish and it has 2 inches right now should have enough ice for  sunday wooohoooo.

The "T" channels on the Fox Chain are safe 7 the perch are sitting right under the ice. "Good things come to those who wait" or something like that.
