Had a freak accident at my work yesterday I got pinned between a fork truck and steel pole.....fractured my pelvis is 4 spots......no surgery is needed which is great.....but right leg/side is damn sore.... I m hoping I can walk a little today & get out of this hospital......prayers needed

Yikes!!!!!!!!

I was pinned by a car against a building years ago so I can relate. My best advice is to NOT push too hard to get back to normal - take the time you need to heal. Oh, and if they prescribe meds that say "Take with food" TAKE THEM LITERALLY WITH FOOD - not a few minutes later... I ended up with gastro problems from the pills. That on top of the hip and back injuries with a VERY physically demanding job was "The Bermuda Triangle" of ailments that by favoring one thing it caused problems with the other, and so on and so on......

prayin for your quick recovery smitty,,,, keep da faith...…. my brothering law feel down a steep bank and had multiple mini fractures in pelvis and hip,,, no surgery for him neither ,, or therapy. they told him he will know when he can start slowly doing things... sure enough.. very painfull but after 3- 4 weeks he was back out hunting. needles to say being mindful of where he,s stepping but all in all doing well.
