Hang GLider needed to get on ice....
« on: Jan 15, 2008, 03:13 PM »
Went out today searching for ponds to get out on and it seems out here in the framingham area the edges are all shot but freezing....Anyone got any good reports on ice I do not have to shoot myself out of a cannon to get on? Everything should be set this weekend...

An aluminum extension ladder works wonders.  Light and long. Used one several times !

Just remember to tie/stake the end of the ladder off.  Took a hard core spill on my arse one time when the ladder slid down the bank  :o
