Looking to get out....

I need a hard water fix, so I am traveling up from the chicagoland area for a day or two.  Anyone point me towards a good spot for some tip up fishing?  I will bring some beverages if anyone wants someone to tag along.... Thanks

I really dont know....I just want to get out and catch some fish have a good time on the ice... Have gear will travel is my philosophy.  Possibly the Green Bay area thats about 4 hours for me.
