Delta March 14th
« on: Mar 14, 2005, 10:50 PM »
Well what a day. The weather was gorgeous and the fishing was great as usual. After a 45 minute walk with little reel it was time to fish. First 9 drops for BW produced 9 perch and not one were below 10 inches. Then it was little reels turn. Final outcome was BW  94 perch 6 tullibee which were released to swim another day and little reel 71 perch. take home was 120 perch with the biggest being on my rod at 12 inches. Total fillet weight 10.5 lbs. 3 hrs of filleting and just a few beer. ;D ;D ;D Guess where I will be going tuesday. :o :o :o

Good fishing there, BW, sounds like you and Little Reel really got into them.  And it also sounds like you  got some of the larger ones too. They're always more of a pleasure to fillet than the little guys.  Biggest I've caught in recent years might have been 10 1/2".
