Title: (updated) ADKicewalker's hard water season so far.

Day 1: Me and my bud decided to head to a lake in the southern ADKS that we love to fish during the summer for pike but have never fished during winter. the start was quite slow but by the end of the day we managed to stir up 3 pike around 25 inches a good crappy and a keeper perch.

Day 2: (MLK day) The whole clan and I decided we should go out on one of our favorite ADK lakes and see how the lakers were hitting. The day started out with a bang, i no sooner got my first tip up set and the flag flew up on the other end of the line a 38 inch northern pike was just a waitin for me. landed him and the day got slow for about 2 hours, a few perch here and there on the jiggin rods but no flags. finaly the dry spell broke when a second pike 34 inches was caught out of the same hole i nailed the big boy on earlier on. after that all down hill with 3 straight lakers biggest of which being 9 pounds.

feb 3rd the only fish i caught all day... surely worth it 27 inches 7 pounds

that looks like an epic day to me any day that you can catch a couple 30" + gators and a 9lb togue seems like a great day to me
